If the glass is too dirty

Being engaged in minor repairs of the apartment, you decided to “generalize” window panes. To make them perfectly clean, it is necessary to approach glass cleaning with all seriousness.

First, simply dampen the glass with water using a brush or cloth and let it sit for a few minutes. And only then wipe the window with a clean rag.

Next, prepare chalk whitewash based on 1 glass of water – 2-3 tbsp. spoons of pure chalk. This whitewash is applied with a brush to the glass and allowed to dry. After that, the glass is wiped with a dry, clean cloth, and then with soft newsprint.

If the glass was very dirty (especially from the street), then first it is washed with ordinary warm water, and then again with soapy water (50 g of soap per liter of water). If there are grease stains on the glasses, then it is better to replace the soap solution with an alkaline one, using caustic soda instead of soap. After the window has been thoroughly washed, it is allowed to dry, and then first whitened, then wiped.

If you are allowed to have money, purchase it and thereby facilitate your work. The above method of cleaning glasses by the method of our mothers is more suitable for those who are trying to avoid contacts with household chemicals, preferring natural raw materials.
